US GIGS POSTPONED – Sad news

Cork, July 23rd, 2024

Just a brief note to let you know my upcoming US gigs are on hold till further notice. My father was diagnosed with mesothelioma in February. Three weeks ago we learned his treatments are not working. He is now receiving palliative care at home. I am staying in Ireland to be with him and the rest of my family during this time. We are blessed by his inspirational spirit and our family’s truly incredible circle of neighbours and friends.

 

From a professional point of view, I want to thank all the venues who have been so understanding and supportive throughout this.  I am now even more grateful to all who came to the recent gigs, and all my Patreon supporters as I take this essential break from work.

 

I do hope to add some more local Irish gigs in the interim.

 

EW Harris will be covering my immediate upcoming Big City Folk commitments.
