A Slow Moving Ambulance

A slow moving ambulance can mean one of two things. The lights are flashing but the siren is off. Under the scaffolding at the end of our block. The street’s a little wider here. The local NYFD use it to practice turning fire engines. Not something I ever thought about. Until I did. A firetruck and a couple of cop cars now too. Nobody in a hurry. False alarm or too late. Could be nothing. Ridiculous as it seems, I hope everybody’s okay.
