She Makes Me Want to Wash My Hands

March 10th, 2020 Rockaway Park, NY

I have a tiny human. I have friends and family that are more vulnerable than I am. I’ve washed my hands a bajillion times recently.  I’m more hygienic than I’ve ever been. I’ve also touched my face a bajillion times. Have you ridden the subway in the last few days? Mine was so incredibly clean, I felt like I was on holidays in a country that has clean public transport. Albeit a country that has clean public transport and the Coronavirus. I asked the pharmacist where the hand sanitizer was and he laughed. “Sold out.”

As I have a twisted sense of humour It made me think of this older song of mine. If you are tiring of singing happy birthday to yourself (twice) while washing your hands, the chorus is the CDC approved length for hand washing….
